We couldn't praise the staff and venue more for an absolute dream weekend for myself, husband, our friends and family.
Everything ran smoothly and the bar/food staff couldn't have been more kind! Nothing was too much for anyone and the service was exceptional! Even when they were low on my husbands drink of choice, they made a trip to a shop to stock up! The food was delicious with guests saying the best food they've had at any wedding.
The venue was absolutely beautiful and everyone had an amazing time! The venue doesn't need much decor but Sue couldn't have been more helpful to make our vision come alive and work alongside our vendors. She even foraged for greenery the morning of our wedding for some stair decor. Our main fear was the venue would be too small however the upstairs allowed mingling and chatting whilst downstairs the dance floor was never empty and people mingled between the decking and indoors. From booking, planning and to the wedding weekend itself, it was an absolute dream! Couldn't recommend this venue more!

We got married at Venachar Lochside at the end of October and I have nothing but glowing things to say about the venue, the location, the staff, and the food.
We went through the usual long run up to the wedding, and were in close contact with Sue throughout the period. Sue was amazing and supportive of our requests and the elements we wanted to include, as well as aiding us in getting the tipi for the venue.
On the setup day the venue was already beautifully presented and the decorations we bought with us were lovely accentuations to what was already there. They were also not precious about us moving current decor around to best fit us.
On the day, all the staff were amazing, we felt very relaxed with regards to timings and moving guests around, with the staff ensuring we were all well on track. The venue looked stunning at the side of the loch, and our photos reflected that. The food was really good (from the little I got to try with how busy we were) and everyone said they loved it.
We also rented the venue for the day after the wedding for organised watersports due to its slipway and parking. It was perfect for this purpose, and allowed our wedding guests to get together to talk about the wedding after the big day.
Cannot recommend Venachar Lochside highly enough, all the staff were really helpful, with Sue being amazing, the venue being beautiful, and the food being perfect and tasty for our big day.

We have just returned from our honeymoon and as we settle back into everyday routines we wanted to send a heartfelt thank you to you and the whole team at Venachar Lochside.
Our wedding day felt incredibly special and so much of that is thanks to the warmth and care shown by everyone at the venue. We felt genuinely looked after throughout the day. Your professionalism, kindness and calm presence made everything feel relaxed and natural. We also really appreciated the easy flexibility, including letting the party take over the tablet for the playlist, which meant the celebration felt very personal to us and our guests.
The Sunday BBQ was equally fantastic. We loved every minute of it. The way you and the team hosted us again, and so kindly allowed us to stay on longer, made the whole weekend feel so special and unhurried. It gave us time to really be with our family and friends, and we are so grateful to you for making that possible.
We feel so lucky that we chose Venachar Lochside for our wedding. We could not have asked for a more welcoming or beautiful place to share such an important moment.

Had our wedding here on the 9th August 2025. Everyone at the venue was so incredibly helpful, the food was amazing and they were so accommodating for dietary requirements and allergies! Would definitely recommend to anyone considering this venue for their wedding, big thank you to Sue as she was amazing!

We had our wedding here this week (20/05/2025) and it was absolutely fantastic. Every need was catered for brilliantly and even during the planning and lead up to the wedding itself, Sue, Meghan and the whole team couldn't have been more helpful.
The venue, location, food and drink, and atmosphere are perfect.
Highly recommended for a wedding, or even just a visit for the cafe/restaurant.

Meghan and Sue were so organised and made the day run so smoothly! The food was incredible and we received so many compliments!
Meghan was always there to answer any questions we had in the running up to our day!
They also provided our wedding cake, which was beautiful, delicious and made our lives so much easier!

It was a stunning location and the staff couldn't have been any more helpful and supportive throughout the whole process. They really made it the wedding we wanted it to be.
