Visiting
Unless we have a wedding on, our Wild Spa and sauna is open every day from 9:00 to 21:00, with café service throughout. The Restaurant is open Thursday to Sunday, 12:00 to 20:00, on days we don't have weddings.

Please note that sauna sessions need to be booked in advance — the sauna takes 2 hours to reach temperature, so we need to know you're coming.
There's plenty to enjoy at Venachar Lochside. You can go wild swimming in Loch Venachar, experience cold plunge or cold water therapy, unwind in the sauna, or hire paddle boards on the loch. After all that, we have café service, fine dining in the restaurant, and of course the venue itself to soak up.
Yes, we have mixed-gender changing rooms located near the spa and sauna, housed in our converted ex-boat house — decorated with fairy lights and set right on the lochside.
Yes — you can swim in Loch Venachar, and we'd encourage it. The water is clear, refreshing, and especially enjoyable in the warmer months. Professional open-water swimming groups train there regularly, and it's one of the things that makes the lochside experience so special.
Yes — Venachar Lochside is dog friendly, and four-legged visitors are always welcome.
Only if you're a paying customer. Our car park is reserved for guests using the café, restaurant or Wild Spa — so if you're planning a swim, make a visit of it and you're welcome to park with us.
Dining & Café
Yes. The café is open Thursday to Sunday from 12:00 for the public, on non-wedding days. We serve coffee, tea, and cakes made in-house by our pastry chef, along with light lunch options. Hot drinks are also available daily for spa guests throughout the day.
The restaurant is open Thursday to Sunday from 12:00 to 20:00 on days we don't have a wedding. We'd always recommend booking ahead to avoid disappointment — you can reach us on 01877 381442 or at manager@venachar-lochside.co.uk.
Wild Spa & Sauna

Staying Nearby
Yes — Venachar Lochside has two lodges right next door, perfect for staying close to the venue. Nearby in Callander, you'll also find The Abbotsford, Leny Estates, Callander Youth Hostel, and The Waverley Hotel. Callander is just a short drive away and has a great range of accommodation to suit every budget.
