We got married at Venachar Lochside at the end of October and I have nothing but glowing things to say about the venue, the location, the staff, and the food.
We went through the usual long run up to the wedding, and were in close contact with Sue throughout the period. Sue was amazing and supportive of our requests and the elements we wanted to include, as well as aiding us in getting the tipi for the venue.
On the setup day the venue was already beautifully presented and the decorations we bought with us were lovely accentuations to what was already there. They were also not precious about us moving current decor around to best fit us.
On the day, all the staff were amazing, we felt very relaxed with regards to timings and moving guests around, with the staff ensuring we were all well on track. The venue looked stunning at the side of the loch, and our photos reflected that. The food was really good (from the little I got to try with how busy we were) and everyone said they loved it.
We also rented the venue for the day after the wedding for organised watersports due to its slipway and parking. It was perfect for this purpose, and allowed our wedding guests to get together to talk about the wedding after the big day.
Cannot recommend Venachar Lochside highly enough, all the staff were really helpful, with Sue being amazing, the venue being beautiful, and the food being perfect and tasty for our big day.
