Venachar Lochside Xmas Markets
On the 14th of December noon to 4pm, Venachar Lochside will be hosting a free Christmas makers’ market featuring 12 of the finest local crafters. Alongside the stalls, we’ll be serving festive lunches, homemade sweet treats, and Christmas drinks to match the season.
The idea behind the event is simple: to bring the local community together, introduce new faces to Venachar Lochside, and offer a brilliant day out filled with great food, creativity, and a bit of Christmas cheer. We hope visitors leave having found a new favourite spot for a meal, and come back again soon for a relaxed lunch or dinner by the loch.
All market stalls have been provided free of charge, and we won’t be taking any commission from sales. In return, we’d be incredibly grateful for support through restaurant bookings on the day. Every table reserved makes a huge difference, and we promise a lunch well worth your time.
Our Friends with Stalls
We have been very careful in choosing who will come and have a stall. Only the highest quality, local, handmade, businesses and charities will be attending. Here are a few of the 12 to give you an idea of the exciting people!
Green Aspirations
A local social enterprise all about the outdoors and connecting people with nature. They hand make products to prove we can live in a sustainable world and give gifts without mass-manufacturing at a detriment to our world. They are going to be bringing Little gifts, Charcoal, and doing gift making workshops!
Lochard Clay
A local ceramist, Rebecca will be bringing her mugs, plates, bowls, and candles. Her site “Lochard Clay” has proven very successful and sells across the UK!
Làmhan
Callander’s newest charity! Teaching our locals how to sew at an affordable price. Jo will be bringing her skills to do sewing workshops, and bringing some tartan to sell.
RS Woodturning
Ron, a local wood carver is coming to sell a huge range of bowls, spurtals, and other fun present ideas!

Stay warm and feel festive with hot chocolates (with extra marshmallows and cream), mulled wine, and lattes!

We are taking booking in our restaurant so you can visit the Xmas markets before or after your food, making it a fun and worthwhile day out with your family or partner.

Our French twist on Xmas Market food. Everyone loves them, they’re sweet, and made in front of you with fresh local ingredients!
